DESCRIPTION: A PROFESSIONALLY REFURBISHED BLACK LEATHER, four spoke sports steering wheel for Porsche 986, 993 and 996 (911) 1994 to 2004. Wheel was refurbished using Black leather, Black stitching. Please note: I have not been able to find out the exact fitment per PET for this part number. I am not sure it is a superseded or supersession. The wheels look the same, splines are the same, depth is the same, BUT! the airbag depth is different! Please See Pictures. Casting Manufacturing date is 1999. The easy way to find out if this is the exact wheel in your car is to measure the hub, from the edge of the airbag to where the hole for the bolt starts. This is the shallow version, about 38mm or 1 3/8″ from airbag to bolt hole (please see pictures). The deeper one is about 56mm or 2 1/8″, the deeper wheel will measure about 3/4″ more from airbag to hole (please see pictures) . This is noticeable on the horn contact plate or retaining frame for airbag. Quality stitching with Factory pattern, with especially conditioned leather. Tiptronic ONLY! Will NOT fit manual cars. We REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL $ 300.00 DEPOSIT for the core. This is a 100% refundable deposit, which permits us to send you the new wheel, so you can install it in your car, and then return the core so you do not have more than a little down time. The additional deposit will be sent as a paypal request (we do not want to pay fees on the deposit), but your core must be the same wheel we ship to you in a rebuildable condition, meaning it can not be broken or bent, and the same basic color and model. You have 30 days from the moment you receive the steering wheel, to send your core, or else you forfeit the deposit. If you want to send us your core upfront, Contact us and we will issue a listing for you without the core charge.
